Tanis
Mother was a traveller who died during childbirth in a temple of Asclepius (read hospital) and from an infant I was raised in service to Asclepius and Apollo. I grew up with an interest in potions and poisons how they could heal injuries. I spent a lot of time helping the healers studying not only healing but any related field I could.
I never found out who my father was.
After a while I realised that some poisons could be used to ease suffering and in some cases counteract the effects of other poisons. After suggesting that this could be used by healers to the church elders I was quickly banished for violating the rule of “do no harm to patients”.
While traveling I earned a living by creating poisons to ease the death of farm animals without spoiling the meat and healing the sick and injured before getting recruited into the Roman military.
