409 - Sep 21
The session began on the morning of September 21.
Scorpius was engaged in crafting items.
On the 21st Gaius visited the Lonely Princess to enquire about the friendly Elf Ranger he met there previously (Vedagh). Vedagh was known to the patrons but Gaius did not glean anything of particular value.
The 22nd passed uneventfully.
On the 23rd what appeared to be a giant slug passed along the passage beyond the secret door the party had constructed leading from the cellar of the mansion. Scorpius detected faint Transmutation magic on the door.
Tarryn had a conversation with Eviatrix the Druid (the friend of the Centaurs).
Scorpius enquired about drugs that could be used for interrogating the Homunculous/Imp and was told they would cost 200gp.
On the 24th the party received information from Boffo and Marigold (the Hobbit spies working for Scorpius) that the evil party had been seen crossing the wall on the eastern side of town. The party comprised a human cleric of Arawn, a High Elf male Wizard, a Goblin Thief, a Half Orc Fighter, a Human Barbarian and a Half Elf female Druid.
On the 25th, while the party was enjoying a leisurely breakfast on their balcony, Tarryn was shot by a poison dart. The shot appeared to come from an insulae across the street.
The party went to investigate and discovered that Black Lotus poison had been smeared on the latch of the mansion's front door.
The insulae had a wine bar and laundry on the ground floor and three floors of apartments above.
Reaching the roof the party encountered the Goblin Thief who continued to fire poison darts. He was invisible at first but then appeared near the party and attempted some melee attacks. His form was strangely blurred.
The party managed to despatch him. He turned out to have several items of interest including what turned out to be a Ring of Greater Invisibility which was attached to a pocket by a chain. In a moment of overconfidence the Goblin had taken the ring off.
His skin proved to be covered in strange tattoos which Scorpius later assessed had some sort of magical blurring property.
(Crafting information)
Scorpius crerated a Charima buff on a headband, boots of striding and gauntlets of oger power. Dell negotiated with Phillip and secured agreement that the dipsomaniac mage would research the bear shield.
Session ended 1900 September 25th.
